Do like Bill and Alex.....

Bill and Alex had been married for 30 years.

And that in itself was pretty amazing, but not quite as amazing as the fact that they had never met each other and yet they felt like husband and wife and a family.

Okay, I don't really know what to do with those sentences. I can probably spin a story but it feels like it's far-fetched and like I'm …… Not like I am sidetracked but like I can either choose to continue and take it to the extreme or rein my self in and write the story as traditional.

So right now I'm faced with the choice of doing as tradition dictates and then both you and I know where we're headed whether I choose the happy path or the one where they break up.

Or I can choose to stick with what I've started with and then see what adventure pops up and what other experiences life can give them (and me).

It's a bit like when we do as we usually do, live from the conviction that everything has a fixed place that cannot be changed and then one day we break down or wake up because we make a different choice.

So I can only interpret these thoughts and this writing that whether there is magic in your world and your life depends on whether you choose tradition or dare to follow your heart and what your intuition brings even if you certainly can't see what it will give or where it will lead you.

Another thing that my first sentence also gives me in terms of thoughts and insights is that when we follow our heart and intuition, it feels right, just like Bill and Alex feel like husband and wife and family without having met each other, the rest of us can also feel at home and comfortable even if there is no logic behind our choices.

And that's probably what makes us dare to choose it again and again, as long as we have the support to trust and feel ourselves.

Because Bill and Alex could easily have let go of the feeling of belonging over the course of the 30 years when they didn't see each other and through that got the support to believe in what they had and experienced.

Because if there's one thing we stay in this world, it's being influenced from outside to follow tradition, otherwise our lives have no value and don't support society and all of us.

But Bill and Alex definitely do that while they're standing in their own un-traditional lives.

Because they trust their feelings and their own place in life and that gives them space, energy and desire to participate in life because when we're full, we have something to give and the desire to do so. But when we try to fit in and don't fill ourselves up, there's nothing to give and no desire to participate in life.

So do like Bill and Alex:

Live the life that's right for you.

Follow your heart.

Trust your feelings.

- No matter what others say and think.
